Dr Branko Krstic has over 20 years of experience in dentistry since graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. Dr Krstic initially spent some time doing charity work in South African townships before moving to the United Kingdom, where he spent 15 years working within the National Heath Service (NHS) and in private dental practice.
Dr Krstic relocated to Australia with his family in 2012, working as a general dentist in Canberra and Brisbane before making his new home in the Melbourne area and the Dental on Clarendon team.
Dr Krstic enjoys interacting with patients and creating personalised treatment plans to meet their unique needs. He has a gentle approach which helps nervous patients overcome any dental fears. He also has extensive experience in treating patients under sedation, and is accredited to perform dental surgery under general anaesthetic in private hospitals in Melbourne and Queensland.
Dr Krstic has extensive experience in all aspects of dentistry, including crowns and bridges (prosthodontics) and root canal therapy (endodontics); he has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, in particular smile makeovers. He prides himself on enabling patients with lack of confidence to achieve the smile they dream of and to be happy with how they look. He enjoys working with his hands and sees dentistry as a fusion of art and science, especially in the restoration of a smile that has been compromised by dental trauma or deterioration.
